About Assessment
- You can expect, and ask for, lots of assistance, coaching, and feedback as you progress through these 1-credit courses
- You receive separate marks for each of your 1-credit courses
- There is no overall mark for this course, but you can average all five courses for awards purposes
- You will receive interim marks for each course that you begin, but the marks will not be finalized until the end of this semester
- Your mark will be based on my understanding of the level of knowledge and skill that you demonstrate, and I will use a combination of what you produce, what I observe you doing, and what you explain to me to arrive at that decision
- Group work is encouraged in this class, but not mandated. If you do work in a group, you must explain your understanding or demonstrate your ability to perform any tasks that are not performed by you.
